[ THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE THINKING ]
This pictorial series emerges and develops with the creation of different places through the buildings that are secured to nothing, windows that mislead the perspective, and stairs that lead nowhere as a reflection of emotions and memories that materialise in the city.
Each and every one of them emanate from a general structure created from intuition, which is subsequently analysed and completed in a conscious way, giving depth and stability to everything that the psyche needs to express; working thus in a therapeutic way, releasing visceral thoughts caged in a faked and superficial order.
This collection is constantly growing and is always looking for new ways to describe and express itself through different formats and sizes, creating likewise different perspectives of the structures that shape these buildings.
The main characteristic of these buildings is that they transport the viewer directly somewhere in the subconscious where memories, fears, and feelings of every kind are mixed and materialise in the shape of a dreamlike landscape. In essence, it is a reflection of the consciousness of existence itself and the place we occupy in the world.
